PHOTOGRAPHING THE EXPERIENCES WORTH REMEMBERING

From time spent outdoors to the excitement of cars in motion and the energy of dog sports, I enjoy capturing the moments and experiences that make each one worth remembering.

My focus is on the movement, personality, interactions and smaller details that help tell the full story of the experience.

WHAT I PHOTOGRAPH

Outdoor Lifestyle

The outdoors is more than the scenery. It's the people, experiences and moments that happen along the way. I photograph what unfolds naturally, from the action to the quieter details in between.

Automotive

From car cruises and meets to the vehicles and people that make them memorable, I capture the details, movement and personality behind automotive culture.

Dog Sports

Fast dogs, focused handlers, split-second catches and everything in between. I photograph a variety of dog sports with an emphasis on capturing both the action and the connection between dogs and their people.

Real Moments. Real Energy.

I look for more than the obvious shot. I'm watching for the moment before the action, the reaction afterward, the details and the connections that tell the bigger story.

The goal isn't simply to document what happened. It's to create photographs that let you feel a little of the experience again.

Hi, I'm Carlleen

I picked up a camera in 2013 while out walking with my dog, Chipmunk. What started with photographing the things around us—nature, animals and the small details that caught my attention—quickly turned into a love for photography.

Over time, that curiosity grew into a love for capturing experiences as they happen—time spent outdoors, cars in motion, and the energy and connection found in dog sports.

Double C Photography grew from that passion, and today I get to capture the moments, details and experiences that don't always stand still.
